Eduard’s Country House is an escape, a journey of glorious nature on the hilly slopes of Haloze. Idyllic wine growing region for relaxing and taking in the fresh air with pure forest scenery.

The Country House was built with one purpose only- taking time off! 

To enjoy tranquility, preparing good food for friends and family; and many family celebrations are held here as the atmosphere is super inviting for gathering and embracing the good vibes.

Lots of space inside the house with completely equipped kitchen. Open fire place (ready to get 3 pizzas in at once). Outside a kings BBQ for master chefs awaits you to turn the heat on and spice it up in every possible way.

Best place for socializing is on the enormous veranda with beautiful vistas. In the orchard below sun seekers will find peace and quiet. There are many fruit trees on the the property- so please have a bite should you feel like a refreshing treat.

Wonderful place for easy walks and hikes into divine forest, where many streams and springs will accompany you and children will be curious to explore. The first neighbor, who is on the next slope breeds Košutas/deers. Sometimes deers are spotted near the house throughout the day as well.

No traffic around. Three times a week a shop on wheels passes the village with basic products.

Culture lovers will find plenty to entertain nearby. The oldest city in Slovenia Ptuj (Petovio) with thermal spas and wellness and biggest Etno fest for the Carneval. 

The city of Maribor with its Festivals, the croatian capital of Zagreb just a 40 minutes drive away, Ormož, Varaždin for wine lovers …many castles around this area, open air Eco museum in Rogatec, the famous Rogaška Slatina with its glass workshops. And last but not least, a visit to the wine cellars and vine makers  is a very good idea for a great afternoon….
